Hi I’m Rachel which you probably already know, well done for getting this far.
Basically my main points are that I’m a rather over obsessive, sarcastic person who always get the giggles at those really random times when nothing in the universe is funny at all and I tend to tell everyone I have low self esteem but I also think I’m awesome, but it’s endearing right?
I like listening to music, blogging and talking about really perfect boys that don’t exist and I’ll never have.
I’m a northern gal through and through; I go to university and live in the north of England, except I live on the western side and study on the eastern side, well study is a slight exaggeration, me and my friends basically just sit in lectures and laugh and I try to write the full lyrics to songs in my notepad (not as easy as you’d think.) However at the end of all the “studying” I hope to be a lawyer even though the thought of wearing a suit everyday isn’t that appealing but that’s a minor roadblock.
Joe Jonas is my favourite person in the whole world, I decided I was going to marry him a long time ago but have since come to terms with the fact we probably won’t make it to the altar, however there is still nothing in life that I like more than him and I tend to turn into the best (or worst depending on how you look at it) version of myself where he’s concerned.
Other perfect people I allow myself to fawn over are Leighton Meester, I can’t really say her name without saying ‘My Queen’ after it, it’s kind of just all one word ‘leightonmeestermyqueen’ Demi Lovato is my obsession, her fashion, her face, her life, I just love it all. Taylor Swift is everything that is right with the world and if I find myself in a difficult situation it’s often useful to think ‘what would Taylor Swift do?’
I was raised by Mark Schwahn and a part of me actually lives in Tree Hill. There isn’t a moment in my life that I can’t relate to One Tree Hill and I often spontaneously burst into tears because of this fact.
I’m more of a TV show and music person than a film person but I do have a long and healthy relationship with anything that Richard Curtis produces and my all time favourite film is Country Strong, you making fun of me Beau? Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve are up there with the best and Love Actually is better than most things on earth bar pizza and chocolate.
I live in two worlds and one is a world of books. Queen of this world is my favourite author, Paige Toon, she created the man that set the bar very high for my future husband and that man is Johnny Jefferson. Hey if you’re a boy and you own more than five leather jackets and you’re a bad boy but in a ‘nobody understands me, I’m such a tortured artist’ way MARRY ME! Reading also developed my thing for Mexico and boys from there, hence my URL, Fuentes is the last name of my main Mexican man Carlos Fuentes and Raquel is my name in Spanish (clever yes?)
I love for the feeling I get at concerts and I love to drive in my car blaring my favourite tunes. Music is basically the bottom line to everything in my life.
I’m also incredibly superstitious, in fact I think the fact you got to the end of this might be bad luck.
